FAQ

Product Questions (Open Water Jigs & Crankbaits)

Q: How do I choose the right weight for Open Water Jigs?
A: For shallow open water (3-10ft): 1/4oz-3/8oz. For deep water (10-20ft): 1/2oz-1oz. For rough bottoms (rocks/weed): Heavier 1oz+ (avoids getting hung up).

Q: What’s the difference between "shallow" and "deep" diving Crankbaits?
A: Shallow divers (diving depth 3-8ft) have shorter, wider lips – great for topwater or shallow lakes. Deep divers (10-20ft) have longer, thinner lips – ideal for offshore open water. Our product pages list exact diving depths for each Crankbait.

Q: Are these Jigs and Crankbaits good for saltwater?
A: No – our Open Water Jigs are freshwater-only (lead-free coating for freshwater use). Crankbaits are also designed for freshwater species (bass, walleye, pike).

Q: Do you offer bulk discounts for tournament teams?

Shipping & Use Questions

Q: Will my Crankbait’s diving lip get damaged during shipping?
A: No – we pack all Crankbaits in foam inserts that protect the delicate lips. Over 99% arrive undamaged; if yours is broken, we’ll send a free replacement.

Q: How do I maintain my Open Water Jigs to prevent rust?
A: After use, rinse with freshwater and dry with a cloth – avoid leaving them in wet tackle boxes. Our Jigs have a corrosion-resistant coating, but proper care extends their life.
