Return & Exchange Policy

At CastTraceLures, we want your Open Water Jigs and Crankbaits to work as hard as you do. If they’re not the right fit, here’s how we help:

1. Eligibility Rules

  • Returns/exchanges must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging – no scratches on Crankbait diving lips, no bent Jig hooks, and all tags intact (used gear can’t be returned due to hygiene/safety).
  • Custom-weight Open Water Jigs (e.g., 2oz+ special orders) and clearance Crankbaits are final sale – no returns.

2. How to Start a Return/Exchange

  1. Email support@casttracelures.shop with your order number, reason for return, and photos of the product (including packaging).
  2. Wait for our team to send a return authorization (RA) number and either a prepaid label (for defective items) or return address (for change-of-mind returns).
  3. Pack the gear securely: Use bubble wrap for Crankbaits (protect diving lips!) and the original box for Jigs.
  4. Ship back with the RA number on the package – we recommend insurance (we’re not liable for lost/damaged returns).

3. Refund & Exchange Details

  • Refunds: Processed within 5 business days of receiving your return. Issued to your original payment method (shipping fees aren’t refundable, except for defective gear).
  • Exchanges: Available for the same product in a different weight (Jigs) or diving depth (Crankbaits), subject to stock. If the new item is more expensive, you’ll pay the difference.

4. Defective Items

If your Jig arrives with a bent hook or your Crankbait has a cracked diving lip, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We’ll send a replacement for free (no need to return the defective item).
